Peace Prevails

Peace Prevails

Peace Prevails by Muna Yousef combines palms and architecture in a scene built from warm color and ornamental detail. An ochre and red building occupies the center, with arched openings beneath its roof. A turquoise upright element introduces a cooler note among the gold, cream, and earthy surfaces.

Palm fronds extend over the architecture, softening the edges of the built forms. A repeating spiral boundary on the left creates a lower rhythm, while blue ornamental marks enliven a narrow doorway. These details give the eye several routes through the image without disturbing its overall sense of shelter.

The composition holds organic and architectural shapes together. Curving leaves rise above straight walls; repeated arches echo the rounded movements of the decorative lines. Warm foreground color connects the separate structures and keeps the scene grounded, while the cooler accents provide small places for the eye to pause.

The title invites a reading of peace through this settled arrangement. The work presents a place whose appeal lies in its proportions, color, and protected spaces rather than a specific event. Peace Prevails offers an imagined environment where palms, doorways, and ornament create a feeling of quiet continuity.
